After procrastinating for more than a month, I finally starting to write the blog. The season has changed and here I am, with literally nothing. So 'fuck me. here goes nothing.', I thought. It's autumn holiday at my school right now, with 3 months or so to the JLPT and EJU exams.
for those who don't know what those are, JLPT is an acronym for Japanese Language Proficiency Test whereas EJU is The Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Student. In short, it's friggin exam. The fact that I haven't even touched any book since forever is making me unsettled a bit. But let's talk about the present, for now at least.
I'm going to something called 飲み会(Nomi-Kai), which means drinking party, tonight, with my colleagues from my part-time job. I'm a bit anxious since drinking probably isn't really my forte. In all my 19 years of living, I could even count the times I touched alcohol with my one hand. Even the first time I drank alcoholic drink was after I came to Japan, which is 5 months ago. Though I'm also curious as hell what kind of person am I going to turn into when I'm drunk. ,_____,
I said that it's a drinking party, though in Japan, 'Nomi-Kai' is more like Japanese culture where employees of a company (or something like that), would drink together to mark a certain events and to bond with each others. Though it's not a 100% must for them to participate, it is usually expected for employees to participate in the party.
So... it's just an excuse to have a good time.
(Though I still have yet to understand what it's exactly to have a good time by drinking)
Literally when I were writing this post 5 minutes ago, one of my colleague (senpai) messaged me and asked me to accompany her to a friend's goodbye party, since that friend (was studying Japanese language for the last year, I suppose) is going back to his/her country for good. While my senpai is quite a bit under the weather at the moment. (Damn just how much I've always wanted to use that 'senpai' word)
That simply means, 2 drinking party in a row.
L-Let's just hope I won't wake up lying at unknown place with a memory lapse the next day.
今晩は大変になるかもしれないが、なるようになれ!(#゚Д゚)
ps:どうか神様が私を見守ってくれますように。
